SyncX privacy policy

SyncX handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Details you enter in our contact form: name, company, email, phone, the service you're interested in and your message.
• Details you enter in our careers form: name, email, the role, a LinkedIn or portfolio link, your CV and your message.
• Basic technical data our hosting and security providers process to deliver the site and block abuse, such as your IP address.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, provide the services you ask about, and assess job applications. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot. Your theme choice is stored only in your own browser.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are delivered by email to our Microsoft 365 mailbox. The website is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Both providers may process data outside Australia under their own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and manage our relationship with you. Unsuccessful job applications are deleted after 12 months unless you ask us to keep them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct your information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing contact@syncx.net.au or calling 1300 796 362. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
